A Dyna-Mic’s semi-circular sound chamber is designed to mate perfectly with any of our available Harp or Pro-gaskets. When combined, an airtight sound chamber is formed which collects all the sound from your harmonica. This is also how a Dyna-Mic rejects external sounds that impede on your tone and cause feedback.
Our sound chamber in turn houses a condenser microphone, and a custom pre-amp. The pre-amp itself determines the sound color of your Dyna-Mic and is available clean on our Classic model or with adjustable overdrive on our Firebird model.
Both models of Dyna-Mic sound great plugged directly into your favorite amplifier, but no amp is needed. Thanks to our custom pre-amps, a Dyna-Mic sounds great plugged directly into a PA or recording console, without any need for an amp or effect pedals.
